OverviewHealthcare Support Worker - Maternity, Women and Childrens Services B2 at NHS Scotland

The post is a full-time role based in Glasgow, within the Maternity Ultrasound department. The shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. The post holder will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care in line with Health Board policies, departmental policies, Health and Safety, data protection and confidentiality regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality, safe and supportive environment to care for patients within the Maternity Ultrasound department under supervision.

Carry out clerical duties including reception duties, data input, record management, arranging appointments and chaperoning; provide information and support for patients as required.

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest level of care.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential: good organisational and communication skills with the ability to work within a team.

Desirable: previous experience in a healthcare environment and experience with Trakcare.

Full-time post of 37 hours per week; membership of Disclosure Scotland''s PVG is required.
