An opportunity has arisen for a Manual Turner to join their team. THE ROLE Operating a conventional turning machine (lathe) and conventional borer (webster and bennet) to produce high precision parts to customer specifications Assisting with final fitting of the components Correctly positioning the component into the machine, with the assistance of lifting equipment if necessary Identifying the operations which will machine (cut) the component to the required size Carrying out the machining in accordance to the components route card and technical drawing To check your own quality as you work, measuring first-offs before proceeding with any additional machining with hand measuring equipment such as venires and micrometers Responsible for the housekeeping within your own work area To follow instructions as per company procedure, practises and policies To ..... full job details .....
