Health and Social Care Teacher, Birmingham, SEMH SchoolThe Education Network is looking for a passionate Health and Social Care Teacher to join a specialist school in South Birmingham, to teach small classes of students with SEMH needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Health and Social Care Teacher who can make the subject engaging, practical and relevant for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will teach small classes of students who may have struggled within mainstream education, using your subject knowledge and teaching style to build confidence, develop employability skills and help students recognise their potential. The successful Health and Social Care Teacher will be confident managing behaviour, building positive relationships and adapting lessons to meet different learning needs. Experience working with SEMH students, Alternative Provision or challenging behaviour is highly desirable. This role requires QTS or QTLS.
