Mental Health Lead Practitioner

You will be based in Crawley providing assessments and treatment for clients with severe and enduring mental health conditions. The role involves liaising with acute care services, Crisis cafes in partnership with local third sector providers, Police Street Triage options, and Police Custody Healthcare to support clients'' mental health and wellbeing.In this role, you will foster recovery through empowerment of service users and carers by involving them in care planning and establishing supportive relationships that encourage self-determination and responsibility. You will offer a range of evidence-based interventions and risk management approaches to help reduce symptoms and manage high-risk behaviors.This position provides opportunities to be proactive, innovative, and creative in delivering care, facilitating recovery, and engaging service users and carers in relapse prevention and crisis plans. Your interventions will aim to maximize the service user''s ability to resolve crises and prevent hospitalization by working closely with inpatient and crisis services.Minimum Requirements:
Registered Mental Health/OT/Social Worker qualificationPost Basic Courses / relevant Study DaysEvidence of CPD, with at least three years'' post-qualifying clinical experienceExperience of partnership working across statutory and non-statutory teams and agenciesExperience of managing a caseload and prioritizing clinical workProvision of clinical interventions to people with mental health problemsAppropriate UK professional registrationWhat We Offer:
