Teaching Assistant
Location: Northfield, Birmingham (B31)
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: -455 - -480 per week
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Northfield, Birmingham (B31). This is a full-time role starting in September 2025, supporting teaching and learning across Years 3 and 4.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support whole-class teaching and learning across Year 3 and Year 4.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality and engaging lessons.
• Prepare materials and resources to ensure smooth and effective lesson delivery.
• Help ensure that learning is accessible and inclusive for all pupils.
• Lead small group interventions focused on developing core subject skills in reading, writing, and maths.
• Provide in-class support to pupils with special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal communication needs.

What We''re Looking For:

We are seeking a candidate who:

• Has classroom-based experience within a primary school setting.
• Has a sound understanding of the early Key Stage 2 curriculum.
• Is confident delivering small group interventions in reading, writing, and maths.
• Has experience supporting pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal pupils.
• Brings a patient, adaptable and positive approach to supporting all learners.
