A leading civil engineering and infrastructure company is seeking a Health and Safety Manager to oversee projects within their Aviation team. The role covers multiple projects, including Heathrow, Stansted, and Birmingham, with travel and accommodation provided where needed. Reporting to the Head of HSQE, the manager will develop a positive health and safety culture focused on accident prevention and improving safety on-site.Person Specification

Strong construction background with experience in similar roles, including concrete pavements, asphalt, and airport civils/constructionExperience as Supervisor/Manager on similar sitesNEBOSH General certificationCSCS card holderQualified internal health and safety auditor with experience in internal auditsLead Auditor status is beneficial but not essentialUnderstanding of BS OHSAS 18001:2007 standards and experience with registration surveillanceKnowledge of current and upcoming health and safety legislationGood presentation, written, analytical, and IT skillsTraining and presentation experience at all organizational levelsInterpersonal skills to guide and educate/train othersSelf-confidence to build strong relationships internally and externallyRole Responsibilities
