Chalk Hill Group are assisting an established, international business in Andover in their search for a Financial Accountant. This role will support the finance function across multiple entities throughout the region. This is a great opportunity for a newly qualified or part-qualified accountant to take ownership of a broad range of financial accounting responsibilities, while gaining valuable exposure to international reporting. There will be an expectation to be in the office three days a week. What will you be doing? Managing the month-end accounting process across a number of international entities. Preparing journals, fixed asset accounting and balance sheet reconciliations. Supporting management reporting and ensuring deadlines are consistently met. Taking responsibility for statutory and tax compliance, including VAT and statistical reporting. Supporting the preparation of international statutory accounts. Working closely with auditors, advisers and the international management team. Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting. You''ll ideally have: ACA, ACCA or CIMA part-qualified or newly qualified. Strong month-end and balance sheet reconciliation experience. Good knowledge of general ledger accounting. Experience working with an ERP system. Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail. The ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
