Our client is an engineering company with a strong focus on the offshore energy industry. They are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team due to an increase in projects. Reporting to a Senior Engineer, the Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for producing the Electrical Engineering deliverables for a work pack / sub-system or project. The Role Producing technical solutions to complex engineering problems (may involve project or sales work), this can include concept design, detailed design, calculations, analysis and technical reports Take ownership of the tasks assigned through to successful delivery within the specified time, budget to the specification and required quality standards Take direction from Lead / Senior Engineer and Product Technical Lead where required Interpret mechanical, hydraulic and control requirements to ensure that the Electrical design performs as per the client / project requirements Contribute to writing of project technical documentation such as Functional Design Specification and technical specifications With support from Senior / Lead Engineer ensure that an appropriate amount of analysis / calculations have been performed on the sub-system / project Ensure that work pack BOM in Teamcentre structure manager is set up in accordance with best practice and is kept up to date When developing the technical solution ensure that due consideration is given to construction, commissioning, test and operation and maintenance ..... full job details .....
