As the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for the Safe and efficient delivery on production targets, meeting quality standards, through to the effective management of any Production team across any shift pattern. Weekday Rotations and Weekend Rotations. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT NVQ Level 4 Qualification or equivalent. Previous experience within manufacturing environment. Previous supervisory or line management experience. Experience of managing of permanent and temporary staff. Experience of Lean manufacturing principles. Communication skills - written and oral. Interpersonal skills. Able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills Able to plan production schedules and monitor materials availability. JOB DESCRIPTION Oversee the manufacture of products within the department to meet production plans, on time and to the required quality standard. Liaise with Inventory Control to ensure material availability. Attend meetings, as necessary, prepared with relevant information and contributions. Maintain necessary metrics (dashboards and efficiencies). Communicate with team members effectively and ensure business information is cascaded to the team.
