The asset finance role is for a London-based legal team member on a 6-month contract at a niche B2B financial institution. This equity-funded bank supports strategic investments in infrastructure, digitalisation, and sustainability across Europe.Role responsibilities

Structuring, drafting, and negotiating asset finance documentation (leasing, hire purchase, sale and leaseback, refinancing)Updating and maintaining financing templates and policy documentsCollaborating with external counsel on transaction structuresReviewing project finance documentation for syndicated credit facilitiesSupporting a portfolio that includes both regulated and unregulated assetsThis is a hands-on, commercially driven role requiring someone who can work flexibly across bespoke transactions and isn’t reliant solely on LMA precedents.What we’re looking for

Mid to Senior asset finance lawyer with strong experience across leasing and structured financeComfortable with bespoke, non-standard transactionsPragmatic, fast-moving, and commercially minded – able to get deals over the line efficientlyExperience with consumer credit regulation is helpful but not essentialWorking arrangements
