We have an exciting opportunity for a
Senior Primary Care Nurse
to join our Primary Care team at
HMP The Mount , a category C training prison built on the site of a former RAF station on the outskirts of Bovingdon, Hertfordshire.In this role you''ll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.Hours
Weekdays: 07:45 - 16:45 and 07:45 - 18:30. Weekends: 08:30 - 18:00. There is an expectation to work 1 weekend in 4.Salary and Contract
This position is full time; you’ll receive an annual salary up to
£52,507
per annum - depending on experience.How will we support you?

As a Senior Primary Care Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will:Be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary healthcare team by bringing your top-notch clinical skills and passion for care.Undertake a wide variety of tasks including screening, assessments, examinations, and tests, as well as answering emergency bells and potentially being the first person to attend an emergency.Develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, building strong multi-disciplinary teams and supporting each other to do a great job.If you are interested in

NMC Registered Nurse (Adult)Evidence of Continued Professional DevelopmentUnderstanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency workingAbility to work within a busy environmentAbility to work unsupervised whilst following policy and proceduresAlthough not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.Secure environments are challenging yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work.
