Vibe Care Agency are seeking experienced Support Workers for our clients in Abingdon Oxfordshire. This is a flexible role, to fit around any other commitments you may have.

We''re looking for candidates who have experience in working in supported living settings, who have a caring and compassionate nature and enjoy working with adults with learning disabilities, autism, complex care & epilepsy.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities, autism & complex needs
- Minimum 12 months experience working for a social care agency or 6 months in a permanent support role
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience supporting individuals displaying behaviours that may challenge
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Dedicated, honest and reliable
Main responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical and learning disabilities, complex needs & autism.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Daily tasks may include supporting with personal care, meal preparation, daily tasks/ activities.
- Accompanying clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Monitor and report any changes in clients'' behaviour or health conditions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress
