Lycetts Insurance Brokers , who are proudly part of
Benefact Group , are looking for an
Account Handler or Senior Account Handler
to join our
London
office.The role holder will effectively manage the insurance and financial services business for
Lycetts
corporate and commercial clients and prospects, and will be responsible for the support of business development through the provision of quotes and cross-referrals as well as working collaboratively with senior account executives and account executives to provide the management of their client and prospect accounts.What you''ll be doing
Answer incoming new business enquiries and prepare new business quotationsIdentify and initiate cross-referral opportunities and activities to new and existing prospects/clientsPrepare relevant documentation and information for new business meetings/presentationsDevelop and mentor other account handling team membersDevelop business opportunities including identification of opportunities for cross-referralsComply with file management, compliance procedures and FCA guidelinesWhat you''ll need to have
Previous insurance experienceKnowledge of commercial insurance products and companiesExperience in obtaining quotes and placing businessGood negotiating skills and the ability to build good relationships with both clients and insurers/underwritersSound knowledge of FCA requirements within a broking roleWhat we offer
