We’re on the lookout for a passionate General Manager to lead the team at
Pump House
– a wonderful community pub, in vibrant
Swansea
centre.
About the Pump HouseThe Pump House is a fantastic two floor operation pub, set between the sandy beach of Swansea Bay and the vibrant City Centre. Delighting guests with our Community menu, The Pump House boasts modern industrial décor, an amazing open grill area, over 180 covers inside and external seating for 120 guests.
Located just a few minutes’ walk from the Arena, The Pump House is a high-volume business trading at an average of £35,000 per week, with a 60/40 dry to wet sales mix. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced General Manager to showcase their knowledge of the local area and track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences and ability to drive sales in a branded food environment.
Management accommodation
is available in the form of a large 2 bedroom accommodation, recently decorated.
What You’ll Be DoingAs a General Manager at Marston’s, you’ll be more than just a leader – you’ll be a local favourite. You will:
Build a tight-knit team, lead to deliver brilliant guest experiences
Take ownership of every part of the business – from kitchen, to cellar, to front-of-house
Champion Welsh hospitality – warm welcomes, real connections, and genuine service
Use your know-how to grow the business and adapt to seasonal demand
Become a familiar face in the community and make your pub a go-to destination for locals and visitors
