The engineering department consists of 18 skilled professionals, including Engineering and Maintenance Managers, Team Leaders, Fitters, and Electrical Apprentices. The role involves responding to PPMs and reactive breakdowns on static concrete block-making machinery, wet cast lines, presses, packaging systems, and secondary processing equipment using the Shire CMMS system to manage maintenance activities and adhering to TPM. Some of the components you can expect to work with are hydraulic and pneumatic systems, proximity switches, motors, and PLCs/HMIs (fault-finding/io testing on Siemens/Allen Bradley), whilst upholding a strong health and safety led approach.
