Project Manager | Capital Works

£75,000 plus £5,000 car allowance + package

I am working on a great opportunity for a Project Manager, Capital Works to join a leading building services team on a major healthcare estate in London.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being close to the project, working with clients, consultants and subcontractors, and taking ownership of design and construction delivery across significant capital works.

You will be responsible for leading day to day project delivery, managing design coordination, supporting procurement, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring projects are delivered safely, commercially and to a high standard.

Healthcare project experience would be highly beneficial, particularly within live environments where communication, planning and stakeholder management are key.

A strong understanding of the Building Safety Act is also important, including duty holder responsibilities, higher risk buildings, safety case principles and the golden thread of building safety information.

What they are looking for:

• Experience delivering capital works projects of a similar scale
• Strong knowledge of design and construction management
• Good understanding of RIBA stages from design through to handover
• Experience working as Principal Contractor or Principal Designer would be beneficial
• Healthcare project experience is ideal
• Strong working knowledge of the Building Safety Act
• Relevant trade or technical qualifications
• CIOB, RICS, APM or similar would be desirable

• HNC or HND in Building Services or Mechanical & Electrical Enginnering
