I''m working with a highly respected urban regeneration delivery organisation in East London that is looking to appoint a Senior Development Planner to support its expanding portfolio.

As a Senior Development Planner, you''ll sit within a dynamic, multidisciplinary development team and take a leading role in managing planning strategy and delivery across a diverse pipeline of projects.

You will:

• Lead on planning applications for major residential and mixed-use schemes
• Provide strategic planning advice across multiple development sites
• Manage relationships with local authorities, consultants, and stakeholders
• Support land promotion and site acquisition strategies
• Navigate complex policy, viability, and delivery challenges
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practice

We''re looking for someone who combines strong technical planning knowledge with a commercial mindset and a passion for placemaking.

You will ideally have:

• Significant experience in development planning (public or private sector)
• Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale schemes
• Strong understanding of the London planning system and policy landscape
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• RTPI accreditation (or working towards it)
