Our exclusive agency brands are widely admired in the on-trade sector for their quality, authenticity, and innovation.The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and commercially savvy Brand Ambassador to champion our portfolio of premium French and Prestige wines in the UK On-Trade. This high-impact role bridges the gap between Brand Management and Sales, focusing on building brand reputation, securing key listings, and boosting the rate of sale across influential accounts.As a custodian of heritage-rich French wine brands, you will immerse yourself in the culture, understand each brand’s lifecycle, and bring their vision to life for UK customers. Whether at brand dinners, high-profile tastings, or trade activations, you will be the go-to expert and advocate, closing deals through a mix of gravitas, strategy, and cultural flair.Your Responsibilities
(include but are not limited to)Represent and evangelise our French portfolio within the UK trade, embodying brand values and visionWork with Brand Managers and Trade Marketing to develop and execute promotional campaignsDeliver a clear annual calendar of prospection activity by brand and channelWin new listings and open new accounts in high-visibility, brand-aligned outletsProvide engaging social media content and carry out engaging activationsRegularly report on brand performance, provide actionable feedback, and propose corrective measures.Host exceptional brand experiences – from tastings and dinners to bespoke eventsDeliver standout brand visibility in the on- and off-trade through original and relevant activityWhat We Are Looking ForDeep understanding and appreciation of French culture (fluency in French is a plus)Strong sales background (preferably in FMCG or luxury brands), with a commercial mindsetStrong understanding of marketingProven success in the UK drinks industry, with excellent knowledge of wine/champagne and competitor landscapeDemonstrated ability to turn consumer insights into actionable brand strategyHighly persuasive and confident in presenting to a range of stakeholders – from sommeliers to senior buyersCreative thinker with the tenacity to overcome objections and close deals with flairEducated to degree level (preferably in a business-related field)Charismatic, gregarious, and comfortable being the face of a brandNatural host with strong public speaking and presentation skillsHighly computer literate, with experience in Navision, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerpointWhy Join Us?This is your opportunity to leave a tangible mark on prestigious wine labels while working in a collaborative and vibrant environment. Make impact. Celebrate wine.Working PatternThis is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week, typically Monday to Friday between 9:00am and 5:30pm. However, given the nature of our clients in the hospitality sector, flexibility is essential — to support customer needs, events, and tastings. Some activities may also involve international travel, so a valid passport is necessary.Work LocationHead office in London. It is a requirement that the applicant will work from the office at least 3 days a week.
