Senior Project Manager, Infrastructure High Speed Assurance Close to half a million documents will have been produced on one section of this major infrastructure programme. Someone needs to make sure the right ones are available at the right time, to the right people, in a form that actually serves the future railway. Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to project manage the assurance documentation process for a major section of the High Speed build. The work is about getting control of a very large body of project documentation, understanding what exists, and ensuring that assurance records are accessible and fit for purpose for the next stage of construction and for the parties who will ultimately operate and maintain the railway. This is a programme-level responsibility with real consequences for how the project hands over to the future. This isn''t a technical assurance role, nor an engineering role, but the ability to talk to engineers, regarding assurance is essential. You will identify where current processes are falling short, lead improvements, and coordinate across internal teams and supply-chain partners to close the gaps. You will manage interfaces with third parties who have a legitimate interest in the assurance record, including future railway operators and the next phase of the delivery programme.
