An opportunity has arisen for a talented Banking and Finance Associate to join a leading law firm in London. The role focuses on leveraged finance transactions, working closely with a senior partner known for their pragmatic and commercial approach to acquisition, corporate, and real estate finance.Responsibilities

Advise borrowers, sponsors, and financial institutions on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions, including cross-border deals.Draft and negotiate loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, security documents, and other finance-related documentation.Support private equity clients on financing aspects of MandA and buyout transactions.Assist in structuring complex debt arrangements, including bespoke financing solutions.Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas including corporate, real estate, and restructuring.Manage client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.Stay abreast of market developments and regulatory changes impacting the leveraged finance space.Profile

Qualified solicitor in England and Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction).Post-qualification experience in banking and finance, with a strong emphasis on leveraged finance.Experience acting for borrowers and/or lenders in acquisition finance transactions.Strong technical skills and commercial awareness.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.A pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset.Job Offer
