The firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Solicitor to work on Public Law matters, with a particular focus on procurement disputes and judicial reviews. The role will involve managing files, supervising and delegating work to junior lawyers, and handling High Court litigation as well as mediation.

Responsibilities

Conduct advocacy where appropriate, delivering strategic, practical, and commercial advice.

Support the team on larger and more complex matters.

Engage directly with clients to manage expectations, oversee budgets and fees.

Contribute to business development through marketing, networking, and other client-focused initiatives.

Manage files, supervise junior lawyers, and handle High Court litigation, including mediation.

Qualifications

Experience gained at a strong regional or City firm, or a specialist/niche practice.

Expertise in High Court Litigation and, preferably, procurement disputes and/or judicial review.

Excellent client service skills, high attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication.

Flexible approach to meet urgent client and court deadlines while maintaining clear client communication.
