You will use clear routines, predictable language, and structured task steps to reduce overload and increase independence. You will support communication and engagement through practical adjustments such as visual prompts, chunked instructions, planned movement breaks, and calm check-ins at key points in the day. Sensory differences are common for autistic people, so you will notice triggers early and help the student use agreed strategies before stress escalates. You will keep brief, professional notes on what helps, what changes, and what progress looks like, then feed back to the team so support tightens over time.
