Interpret between spoken English and BSL during lessons, tutorials, meetings, and wider college activities.Adapt communication styles and resources to meet individual learner needs.Encourage and support learners in developing independence, confidence, and self-advocacy.Work collaboratively with teaching staff to anticipate lesson content and adapt specialist terminology.Support learners both in academic and social settings, promoting integration with peers.Contribute to learner support plans, EHCP reviews, and progress monitoring.Promote Deaf awareness across the college community.Maintain confidentiality, impartiality, and professional boundaries at all times.
