Children''s Residential Support Worker Location: Bury, BL9 Salary: From £12.50-£13.50ph+ £60 per sleep-in shift Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week (including days, nights, and weekends) Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people? Our client provides therapeutic residential care for children aged 8-18 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), including trauma, autism, and attachment challenges. We''re looking for compassionate, committed individuals to join the team and become a positive, stable presence in a child''s life. Your Responsibilities as Children''s Residential Support Worker: Support children with daily routines, emotional regulation, and life skills Build trusting, professional relationships in a safe and structured environment Encourage independence, resilience, and positive behaviour Work collaboratively with professionals, families, and agencies to meet care plan goals Maintain accurate and timely care records, logs, and incident reports Uphold safeguarding policies and promote children''s rights and wellbeing Essential for the Children''s Support Worker role: A genuine passion for working with children and young people Understanding of safeguarding principles and professional boundaries Willingness to complete all required training such as Level 3 or Level 4 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Full UK driving ..... full job details .....
