With one of the most globally connected and experienced and long-tenured Consultant Relations teams in the industry, Allspring is uniquely positioned to deliver a seamless and impactful consultant client experience.The key focus of the role will be securing new high impact buy ratings and commercialising on Allspring’s existing ratings footprint. Reporting directly to the Head of International Consultant Relations, the candidate will be part of a dynamic Global Consultant Relations team, made up of currently 10 dedicated consultant relations professionals located across both UK and US.This role will primarily support Allspring’s rapidly expanding UK and International consultant driven business, contributing to strategic initiatives and deepening consultant engagement across key markets.The team is deeply embedded across the organisation, supporting regional leads, sales directors, and client relations directors in driving asset growth through both client retention and new business development. An additional part of the role will be to share consultant feedback with the business to support the continuous improvement of Allspring’s product enhancement and development.We currently operate a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office at least 3 days a week.Location(s): London, United KingdomResponsibilities

Allspring continues to build strong momentum with UK investment consultants, and the successful candidate will be instrumental in elevating this presence to the next level.Spearhead the development and implementation of Allspring’s strategy for UK-based consultants, taking primary responsibility for managing key relationships and fostering deeper engagement across the consultant landscape.Securing new high impact buy ratings and commercialising on Allspring’s existing ratings footprintAct as a strategic partner to the Global Consultant Relations team, actively contributing to the firm’s global ratings strategy. Over time, take on lead coverage responsibilities for global consultant relationships, with the potential to assume these responsibilities immediately depending on prior experience.Engage directly with UK-based field consultants, working in close partnership with the Head of International Consultant Relations. Collaborate with Allspring’s Head of Institutional – UK, Ireland and Netherlands, while also supporting regional leaders across international markets by leveraging Allspring’s strong ratings presenceDriving key consultant-focused business initiatives from a distribution standpoint, with emphasis on areas such as buy ratings, product innovation, sustainable investing, stewardship, and diversity, equity and inclusion.Lead Allspring’s consultant channel strategy across traditional areas such as defined benefit de-risking and defined contribution solutions, while also expanding focus into emerging areas of consultant influence including wealth management, endowments and foundations, and insurance.Partner with sales, portfolio managers, product specialists, client relations, senior management, operations, risk management, technology and all support functions to manage all service, sales and support activities for assigned consultants.Own the consultant RFP process supported by the RFP team and London based distribution team.Offer feedback and recommendations to the investment teams with the objective of making Allspring’s solutions better suited to institutional consultants.Developing presentations/marketing material, working with internal marketing and compliance teams.Leading and coordinating consultant meetings and training sessions, producing comprehensive briefing documents/research ahead of meetings working with and guiding the consultant associate team.Collaborate with the Global Consultant Relations Team on global initiatives.Support Head of International Consultant Relations in developing business strategy.Planning and execution of UK Institutional Marketing and Event strategy in partnership with UK Institutional team.Mentor other team membersCandidate

Experience and proven success in working with investment consultants, or equivalent large institutional asset owners.A proven track record with UK focused consultants is preferred. Including a proven ability to identify and influence decision-makers at consultants or UK institutional investors.Relationships with regional consultant offices preferred.A solutions mindset to develop a broad and deep understanding of the consultant’s needs and challenges and work to meet those needs by leveraging the capabilities across AllspringAbility to hold consultative meetings and deliver solution-oriented proposals including sustainable investing, a key focus area for Allspring’s UK consultant strategy.Preferred Qualifications
