About the roleAs a Data Quality Lead, you will make a meaningful and valued contribution from the outset.This role offers a great opportunity to establish and maintain ongoing capabilities for how USSIM manages the quality of investment data.This senior position plays a critical role in driving data-related strategies that support USSIM’s strategic objectives.What you will be doingThe successful candidate will lead data quality initiatives and support the USSIM Head of Data Oversight on all data quality matters across the investment business.The key responsibilities include:Supporting the development and implementation of a comprehensive data quality plan aligned with USSIM’s data strategy, goals, and risks.Establishing data quality metrics and monitoring processes to oversee investment data quality, involving Data Oversight and the wider business.Supporting Business Data Owners and Data Stewards in implementing and overseeing data quality measures.Interrogating large datasets, performing detailed analysis to assess quality, identify trends, and target areas for remediation.Prioritising data quality improvements in collaboration with the business, Operational Risk, key projects, and the Data Strategy Programme.Acting as a key advisor within the strategic data programme, supporting the delivery of USSIM’s data strategy, championing data quality tools, and supporting the implementation of new technologies.Drafting the Data Quality Framework, establishing best practices, and managing their rollout with the Head of Data Governance.Communicating issues, risks, achievements, and future plans for data quality enhancement through MI, plans, and regular reports to leadership and stakeholders.Managing and overseeing the control environment with market data vendors.Promoting best practices in data quality within data projects.Collaborating closely with the Head of Data Governance and Data Architect to advance data management practices.About youWe understand that candidates may not meet every requirement.
