We are seeking an experienced

Director, Sales Engineering

to lead and scale our solution engineering function, driving technical excellence and strategic customer engagement within the UKI region. This role shapes how we position our software solutions to customers, ensuring alignment with customer needs and accelerating sales cycles. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in enterprise software solution engineering leadership, strong technical and business acumen, and the ability to inspire and lead high-performing solution engineering teams.What You\''ll Do At UiPath

Leadership and StrategyBuild, lead, and mentor a high-performing solution engineering teamDefine and execute the solution engineering strategy in alignment with International goals and revenue objectivesEstablish best practices for discovery, solution design, demos, and proof-of-concepts (POCs)Customer EngagementPartner closely with Sales leadership to support strategic opportunities and drive deal closureEngage with C-level executives to position the company\''s software value propositionGuide solution engineers and architects in tailoring solutions that address customer business challengesCollaboration and EnablementWork with Product Management and Engineering to align product roadmaps with market needsCollaborate with Marketing to support go-to-market initiatives, messaging, and competitive positioningDrive internal enablement programs to keep the solution engineering team current on product updates, market trends, and sales methodologiesOperational ExcellenceDefine metrics and KPIs to measure solution engineering impact, pipeline influence, and overall effectivenessEnsure consistency and quality across solution demonstrations, RFP responses, and technical documentationChampion tools, processes, and methodologies that improve productivity and scalabilityWhat You\''ll Bring To The Team

10+ years of experience in solution engineering, solution consulting, or technical sales within the enterprise software industry (SaaS, automation, AI, cloud, or related technologies preferred)3+ years of leadership experience managing regional solution engineering teamsStrong understanding of enterprise IT architectures, integration strategies, and digital transformation trendsExceptional communication and presentation skills for both technical and business stakeholdersProven success in driving solution engineering strategies that accelerate sales cycles and revenue growthBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)Self-motivated, proactive with ideas to inspire customer loyalty and adoptionTeam player in a fast-paced environmentFluent written and spoken English is mandatoryMaybe you don\''t tick all the boxes—but if you think you\''d be great for the job, apply anyway.
