Mastercard aims to enable SME growth in a digital economy, with a focus on "Empowering Every Business, Everywhere," as part of its growth strategy.RoleThe SME team seeks a Director, SME Sales Specialist to drive revenue and expand Mastercard''s presence in this segment, focusing on sales execution and product management initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesSales (Primary Focus)Develop and execute a revenue-driven sales strategy to grow Mastercard''s SME segment across Europe.Build and maintain a sales pipeline using data insights to prioritize opportunities.Identify and engage potential customers through market research, networking, and outreach.Work with CPG companies, distributors, and wholesalers to digitize B2B payments for small businesses.Understand SME challenges and tailor Mastercard''s solutions accordingly.Manage the sales process from lead qualification to closing deals.Represent Mastercard at industry events to boost brand visibility.Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies to meet targets.Product Management (Supporting Focus)Collaborate with teams to enhance SME solutions and go-to-market strategies.Drive partnerships and innovation in B2B and supply chain finance.Develop sales enablement tools and training for SME sales teams.All About YouPassionate about democratizing digital payments for MSMEs.Proven experience in engaging stakeholders and driving solutions.Strong sales background, especially in lead generation and revenue growth.Experience in financial services or payments, with CPG knowledge.Experience working with fintechs and alternative payment providers.Intermediate skills in analytics tools like Excel or Power BI.Excellent relationship, influencing, and communication skills.Self-motivated, quick learner, able to handle multiple priorities.Bachelor''s degree required; advanced degree preferred.English required; additional languages a plus.Corporate Security ResponsibilityAdhere to Mastercard''s security policies.Maintain confidentiality and report security breaches.Complete mandatory security trainings.
