Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN

  • Help to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies

  • Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities

  • Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes progress and well-being

  • Collaborate with staff, parents/carers, and external professionals to support pupil development

  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teaching staff

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience supporting children with special educational needs (in a school or similar setting)

  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with children

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA or SEN training) are desirable but not essential if you have strong experience and a willingness to learn.
