Our client based in Maidenhead is currently recruiting for Learning and Development advisor to join their busy team on a 3 month contract. This is to cover sickness and is unlikely to be extended beyond the 3 months. The role will be hybrid with 2-3 days per week in the office. There is parking available. Working hours are full time Monday to Friday 8.15am-5.15pm. Key duties include: To lead on the development of a strong LandD culture throughout the organisation, finding innovative ways to inspire others and by leading with personal example. In conjunction with the People Services Manager, create the annual LandD plan to align learning to corporate priorities and identify annual budget requirements. This will include both renewal of regular planned/compliance learning activities within specified timescales, and partnering with managers throughout the organisation to proactively identify and forecast additional LandD needs. Take ownership for delivering the annual LandD plan so that activity is sourced to achieve learning objectives, organised, delivered and recorded on systems within agreed timescales and within agreed budget. Negotiate with external providers to ensure maximum value for money and programmes are highly tailored to the needs of the organisation. Research, design and deliver in-house innovative and engaging LandD programmes using a variety of methods to meet organisation specific LandD needs.
