Construction Solicitor - 6-Month FTC An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Solicitor to join an established business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role will support a significant capital expenditure project currently underway, working alongside the wider project team and providing legal support as the project progresses. The position would suit a construction lawyer who is comfortable working in a project environment, dealing directly with stakeholders and providing practical, commercially focused legal advice. The Role Working as part of the project team, you will provide legal support across a range of construction-related matters, including: Advising on construction contracts and project documentation. Working with NEC and bespoke construction contracts. Supporting the project team with contractual issues as they arise during the project. Providing practical advice on contractual risk, obligations and project delivery. Working closely with internal stakeholders and other project professionals. Dealing with contractors, suppliers and other external parties where required. Supporting the business through the ongoing delivery of the project. Providing ad hoc construction and contractual advice as required. This is a hands-on project role, so the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and communicate clearly with people outside of the legal function will be important.
