Danos has been mandated on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract by a global asset manager, reporting to the UK Head of Legal.The position is generalist in nature, but candidates with a strong background in funds / MandA are essential.Key Responsibilities:Provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice across a range of legal issues affecting the company.Assist in structuring and forming investment funds, preparing offering documents, partnership agreements, and regulatory filings.Provide legal support on mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and negotiation of deal documents.Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements (e.g., vendor contracts, NDAs, service agreements).Support compliance with applicable laws and internal policies; identify legal and regulatory risks and propose mitigation strategies.Ensure ongoing compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), including reviewing data processing agreements and supporting internal data governance.Your Profile:Qualified lawyer with 5+ PQESolid experience with fund formation and MandA transactions.Broad legal knowledge with the ability to confidently advise across multiple areas of law.Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.Commercially astute with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
