Employment Legal Counsel - Global Energy BusinessLocation: Leeds (hybrid, typically one day per week)This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious employment lawyer to step into an influential in-house role with direct exposure to the General Counsel.The Role / Why It Matters

You’ll play a key role in the employment law team, working with HR and senior stakeholders on restructures, employee relations, contracts, TUPE and compliance. The work is broad and varied, giving you exposure across employment issues without leaving you as the only point of contact.Tribunal experience isn’t required, but you’ll have the chance to build it if you want to broaden your skillset. With collaboration across the business and direct access to the GC, this role offers influence today and clear progression for the future.Where You’ll Make an Impact

Advise HR and senior management on employment law.Draft and negotiate contracts, policies and settlement agreements.Support TUPE transfers and organisational change.Guide the business on employee relations and investigations.Monitor legal developments and train the HR community.What You’ll Bring

Qualified solicitor or barrister, 3–6 PQE.Employment law experience from private practice or in-house.Ability to advise on both strategic and day-to-day issues.Skill in turning legal detail into practical advice.Collaborative approach with credibility at senior level.Why Join?
